How OAuth connection works
X (Twitter) uses OAuth 2.0. PopcornTeam Admin stores an access/refresh token pair on your behalf — your password is never stored.
Prerequisites
- A X (Twitter) account and an OAuth application registered at https://developer.x.com/en/docs/x-api.
- The application must list the PopcornTeam Admin callback URL as an allowed redirect URI.
Required scopes
tweet.read tweet.write users.read follows.read offline.access
Connect
In PopcornTeam Admin, go to /agents/integrations, find X (Twitter), enter the OAuth credentials above, and click Authorize. You will be redirected to X (Twitter) to grant access, then back to PopcornTeam Admin.
Troubleshooting
- Redirect URI mismatch: ensure the OAuth app's redirect URI exactly matches the callback URL shown in the connect dialog.
- Scopes error: verify your OAuth app has the scopes listed above enabled.
