Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 August 2026

These terms govern your use of PopcornTeam — the web application, its API, and the agents and flows you run through it (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

PopcornTeam is in private beta. Only email addresses on an allowlist can create an account, so the Service is used by the team and by people we invited. Several sections below are short for that reason, not by omission.

1. Eligibility and your account

Access is granted by allowlist. An address that is not on the allowlist cannot sign up, and an account that has been deactivated cannot sign in. We may add or remove an address at any time.

  • You are responsible for everything done through your account.
  • Keep your sign-in links, one-time codes and API keys private. Anyone holding them can act as you.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to your account.
  • You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live.

2. What the Service does

PopcornTeam lets you define agents, give them instructions and tools, connect them into flows, and run them from the web app, from a schedule, or from a messaging channel you connect. Agents call large language models and, when you connect an integration, third-party APIs on your behalf.

We may add, change or remove any part of the Service. We do not promise that any specific feature, model or integration keeps working.

3. Beta status — no service level

The Service is pre-release software. It is provided for evaluation, and it can break. We give no uptime commitment, no support commitment and no data-durability commitment. Do not use the Service as the only home for anything you cannot lose, and keep your own copy of work that matters.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone's intellectual-property or privacy rights;
  • send spam or unsolicited bulk messages through a connected channel;
  • generate or publish content that is unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or that impersonates a real person;
  • break the terms, rate limits or API policies of any service you connect;
  • probe, scan or attack the Service, work around its access controls, or run an agent designed to do so;
  • resell or sublicense access to the Service.

We may investigate suspected misuse and may suspend an account while we do.

5. Your content

“Your content” means the prompts, messages, documents, files, agent and flow definitions, and anything else you create or upload. You keep every right you already have in it. These terms transfer no ownership to us.

You grant us only the permission we need to run the Service for you: to store your content, to process it, and to send the parts an agent run needs to the model provider and to the integrations you told that agent to use. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for your content, including having the right to upload it and to send it wherever your agents send it.

6. AI output

Agents produce output with language models. That output can be wrong, out of date, biased, or similar to existing material. Check it before you rely on it or publish it, and never treat it as legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

An agent can also take actions — send a message, write to a connected system, call an API. You are responsible for the actions of the agents you configure and run, exactly as if you had taken them yourself.

7. Integrations you connect

When you connect a third-party service, you authorize us to use those credentials to act on your behalf. Your use of that service stays governed by that provider's own terms, not by these. The provider can change, limit or withdraw its API at any time, which may break a feature without notice.

We are not responsible for a third-party service, for what it does with the data your agents send it, or for anything it does to your account there.

8. Fees

The Service is free during the private beta. We do not charge you for access, there is no paid plan, and we do not process payments from you. If that changes we will say so before it applies to you.

9. Intellectual property

The Service — its software, interface, design and the PopcornTeam name — belongs to us or to our licensors. These terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active, and nothing more. Do not copy, modify or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.

If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

10. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that any output will be accurate or fit for a purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or lost goodwill, arising from your use of the Service — including loss caused by an agent acting on your instructions, or by a third-party service you connected.

Nothing here limits a right you have that cannot be limited by law.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access at any time, with or without notice, including when the beta ends or when we believe you have broken these terms.

The sections on your content, intellectual property, disclaimer and limitation of liability survive the end of your access.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms go to popcornteam-support@googlegroups.com. How we handle your data is covered in our Privacy Policy.
